Philadelphia’s breathtaking 4th of July fireworks display would have made Benjamin Franklin proud. The city’s famous Wawa Welcome America! festival lasts for 10 days and concludes with a rocking concert and a fireworks display that will undoubtedly blow your mind. The fireworks are launched from the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Benjamin Franklin Parkway. This year, The Roots and special guests including Queen Latifah, Daryl Hall, Common, Joe Jonas will perform before the fireworks at 8:30 p.m. The fireworks begin around 10:30 p.m. and last for a half hour. For the best viewing, park your lawn chair on Lemon Hill, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Boathouse Row, Kelly Drive, Martin Luther King Drive, or in Schuykill River Park.
